Overview

Sofia Backstage® Mobile Teletext is a turn-key solution for bringing teletext services of a TV channel into mobile phones. The same content used on traditional TV channels can be used in mobile devices as well.

Sofia Backstage® Mobile Teletext includes the head-end side solution as well as client software to be delivered to mobile devices. The mobile client application can be delivered using 3G network or in the DVB-H broadcast. The mobile client uses cellular packet networks as a return channel and the content can be distributed simultaneously with the DVB-H network and cellular network. The mobile device client software can be installed onto most of the current Java MIDP enabled terminals.

Network operators can utilize Sofia Backstage® Mobile Teletext for providing a separate Teletext service for every channel in the network.

The end-users can use the service with a familiar and an easy-to-use user interface thus attracting returning users.
