Sofia Backstage® Service Manager for DVB-H is a versatile solution for managing interactive services and content from various content sources on mobile TV networks. Sofia Backstage® Manager for DVB-H is designed to enable new value-adding services and revenue streams on mobile TV.
Sofia Backstage® Service Manager for DVB-H comes with web-based user interface that allows operators to control all interactions related to the network and schedule broadcasting of interactive events and file carousels. Content providers have their own limited user accounts to enable dynamic content updates.
Sofia Backstage® Service Manager for DVB-H collects and manages necessary metadata and files for interactive applications. Interactive events can be scheduled using the program chart function and the solution can be integrated to leading DVB-H head-ends. Alternatively, a FLUTE filecast with OMA BCAST or Nokia-OAI Electronic Service Guides can be generated. In addition to interactions Sofia Backstage® Manager for DVB-H can also be used for collection and insertion of full EPG data.
